About:
Saval Challenges is a non-profit program that encourages active lifestyles in the community through year-long fitness-by-movement activities. Founded in 2020-21 in response to pandemic boredom, Saval promotes overall fitness and social well-being among participants through mutual accountability and support. The program offers two types of challenges: Distance and Elevation, with defined quarterly and annual targets for participants to strive towards. Participants must choose one or two of these challenges and commit to meeting the set goals, or face penalties (donations) for non-compliance.
We welcome people of all fitness levels and backgrounds to join our program, which offers a wide range of activities to align with different goals, such as hiking, cycling, running, walking, rowing, swimming, workout, CrossFit, HIIT, Dance, and virtual cycling/running/rowing. Our program aims to create a supportive and inclusive community where participants can encourage and motivate each other to achieve their goals, while also promoting overall well-being.

Respect: We respect the diversity of our participants and also understand that everyone has their own pace and way of achieving their goals. We encourage participants to respect their co-participants and the modes to achieve their goals as well.
Accountability: We believe that accountability is key to success. Participants are expected to take ownership of their goals and be fully committed to achieving them.
Leading Supportively: We believe in leading by example and promoting a positive and supportive environment. We encourage participants to motivate, inspire, and spread positivity among their peers.

Philanthropy:
We are committed to giving back to the community through charitable contributions. The challenge funds, along with matching contributions from our sponsors, will be donated to non-profit organizations chosen by our participants.
We strive to support causes that are important to our participants and to make a positive impact in the communities we serve. Furthermore, we are working on forming partnerships with other non-profit organizations that align with our mission and cause which is close to our heart. Stay tuned for updates.
